My approach to treatment combines clinical knowledge, developed intuition, and a deeply therapeutic touch with nearly 20 years of practical experience. My aim is ‘remind’ the recipient, through whichever therapy is chosen, of a relaxed, centred, focused state helping the body to physically re-set and the person to establish a balanced healthy lifestyle.
My years of clinical practice have been consolidated into a book entitled "Healing Massage", published March 2007 (google book!) available at Chapters, Duthie Books and Banyen Books, as well as Amazon.ca. I wrote the essential oil profiles and blends for an Aromatherapy book with Sarah Dean entitled "The busy person's guide to Aromatherapy" published by Gaia Press, England and translated into five languages so far.
I am dedicated to my own personal development, creative lifestyle and autheniticity and hope to inspire this path in my clients. I am experienced at treating many varying conditions and work with a combination of Natural medical knowledge as well as developed intuition. I explore with my client related issues such as: diet, life-style, physical history, exercise, creative outlets, as well as other therapies that may also aid improvement of presenting emotional or physical conditions. I have a good source of referrals to other practitioners that I respect, and have had many referrals myself over the years from many GPs and well established complimentary health practitioners in London.
At present I practice from my private West End clinic, Vida Wellness Spa - Sheraton Wall Centre and The Wedgewood Hotel.

Biography:
After graduating with a BA(Hons) in Humanities in 1988 I travelled to China and South East Asia. There, had a rare opportunity to study and apprentice in the Taiwanese method of Foot Reflexology, the Rwo Shur Health method, in Malaysia - and then additionally qualified as a Reflexologist in the Eunice Ingham method recognised and recommended by the Association of Reflexolgists in England, of which I am a member. I am also a member and the president of the Reflexology Association of BC.
In 1990 I continued to build on my education graduating, with distinctions, in a Diploma in Oriental Aromatherapy and Bodywork with Gabriel Mojay (author of ‘Aromatherapy for healing the spirit) at the Institute of Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy in London, England. This unique approach utilises essential oils therapeutically according to the principles of modern scientific and traditional chinese medicine, and an approach to massage that incorporates treatment of body energy and muscle structure. Combining relaxation massage, deep tissue work, Acupressure and cranial sacral techniques, with an individualised blend of essential oils.
My interest in healing and health continued with a training in Auric healing with Manuel Shoch of the Tune-In centre in Zurich, Switzerland , and as a Baby Massage teacher with Peter Walker, the founder of infant massage Internationally. Over the last 17 years I have continued to build on this core foundation of knowledge, the most recent being a certified training in Stone Therapy Massage with Nina Gart at the Stonetherapy school here in BC. A wonderful treatment incorporating hot basalt stones and cool marble stones to aid physical & emotional relaxation and promote self healing with semi-precious stones to aid chakra balance and vitality. This year I plan continue my trainning in Cranial Sacral Therapy.
